Experience the rail journey to Edmonton & visit the world’s greatest shopping Mall. | | Day 01 : Calgary - Banff | Upon arrival at Calgary International Airport transfer to Banff by coach. Savor the beauty of the Canadian Rockies as we pass by the resorts of Kananaskis and Canmore. Your day is free to explore the Banff Town ship. | | Day 02 : Banff Sight seeing with Sulphur Mountain. | Your tour in the morning takes you through the town of Banff and its surroundings. Among the highlights visit to the Hoodoos - shaped by centuries of wind, Surprise Corner, Tunnel Mountain Drive, which overlooks the splendor of the Bow River Valley, and the Cave and Basin, where Banff's history began. Also included is your Gondola ride to the summit of the Sulphur mountain where you could have breathtaking views of Banff | | Day 03 : Yoho National Park to Lake Louise | Explore the natural attractions of Lake Louise and Yoho National Park. With our experienced driver cum guide journey along the Bow Valley Parkway to Johnston Canyon where time is provided for a short walk along the canyon. Learn about Castle Mountain while on your way to lunch. At Lake Louise, the 'Jewel of the Canadian Rockies' you'll have time to stroll the shores and photograph the famous Victoria Glacier. In the afternoon see the incredibly blue Moraine Lake before crossing the Great Divide for a stop at the Spiral Tunnels viewpoint, where three lines of railway are laid at different elevations to cross the Kicking Horse River on four bridges. Marvel at Emerald Lake and then relax and wander around the trails at Takakkaw Falls, the second-largest waterfall in Canada. Arrive at your hotel in Lake Louise in the mid afternoon. (The Yoho Park tour is seasonal and operates between June –September) | | Day 04 : Lake Louise – Columbian Ice Field - Jasper | Travel in the most spectacular highways today – The Ice Field Parkway. Spectacular Mountain scenery, gushing waterfalls, emerald lakes brings you to the Columbian Ice Field. Located on the boundary of Banff and Jasper National Parks, the Columbian Ice Field is one of the largest accumulations of ice and snow south of the Artic Circle with an area of 325 sq. Kms. Enjoy an included Ice Explorer ride on the Athabascan Glacier before proceeding to Jasper. | | Day 05 : Jasper Sightseeing | Established in 1907, Jasper National Park - the largest of the Rocky Mountain parks covers an area of 10,878 square kilometers with elegant cedar chalets and log cabins giving a taste of an Alpine atmosphere. Jasper - fascinating in beauty and history, is set amid some of the most rugged peaks in the Rockies. Your Jasper sight seeing tour encompasses some outstanding features of the area including Pyramid and Patricia Lakes, and Maligne Canyon with its narrow gorge and limestone walls falling 50 meters below. The sightseeing tour also includes the Maligne Lake and its scenic cruise (seasonal) to the world famous Spirit Island. | | Day 06 : Jasper Edmonton on Via Rail | Enjoy your morning at leisure in the picturesque mountain resort of Jasper. Transfer to the VIA Rail station this afternoon and board the Canadian for a 4 hour scenic journey to Edmonton. Relax in your comfort class while viewing spectacular scenery just outside the train's picture windows and enjoying the company of fellow travelers. Transfer to your Hotel upon arrival. | | Day 07 : Edmonton Depart | Depart for the airport for your flight to your onward Destination |
